About Captain Butch...

Hello, my name is Butch Yates "Captain Butch". I caught my first fish at age 5 which started my first love and eventually led to my professional fishing career.
I have assisted and guided sportsman for over 38 years.  In my mid twenties,  I started fishing tournaments and promoting fishing lures and tackle for several manufactures and friends. I have been associated with Bass Masters and the F L W Tours and many of the professional fisherman associated with them.
I enjoy fishing fresh water and saltwater. I try to learn something new every time I fish, even on a bad day. I have been blessed  being able to meet different sportsman from all around the U.S.  that share the same love of fishing and Mother Natures beautiful gifts.
I would like to share my knowledge of fishing with you, your family and friends and maybe learn something from you as well. I take my job as a guide very seriously and have fun at the same time. My fishing trips include information on different sea creatures and wildlife along the way.
